Infrared Sauna at Tone Spa

What is an infrared sauna?

Different heat source:
Unlike traditional saunas, which heat the air around you to raise your body temperature, infrared saunas use infrared light to directly heat your body from within.

Infrared wavelengths:
They use far-infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye, with wavelengths that penetrate the skin more deeply than the heat from traditional saunas.

Lower operating temperature:
Infrared saunas operate at lower temperatures (usually 120-140°F) compared to traditional saunas (150-180°F).

How do infrared saunas work?

Far-infrared radiation:
The infrared panels in the sauna emit far-infrared light. This light penetrates your skin, gently heating your body’s core temperature.

Sweating:
The internal heating triggers a deep, detoxifying sweat at a more comfortable temperature.
